Quiet Horizons – Hand-Thrown Wabi-Sabi Soup Bowl

Hand-thrown stoneware bowl with a softly irregular wabi-sabi inspired form and original hand-painted exterior detail.

This one-of-a-kind bowl was made individually on the pottery wheel and intentionally left with subtle variations in shape and surface that highlight the handmade character of the clay.

The exterior features an original hand-painted motif that wraps around the form, giving the bowl a quiet, organic character without overwhelming its simple shape. The combination of natural stoneware texture and painted detail makes each side of the bowl slightly different.

Its compact size makes it well suited for soup, miso, rice, warm grains, small salads, matcha, snacks, or simply displayed as a small piece of studio pottery.

Because the bowl is individually thrown, painted, and glazed by hand, slight variation in form, brushwork, and glaze surface is part of the finished piece.
